Cheap – ↑ Same, I use the Seagate Expansion desk, its amazing, tons of space and pretty fast considering.
If you’re looking at buying a desktop computer, laptop, or hard drive, but don’t know which hard drive is the best to buy, this video should give you some clues.
Preface: Just an example for fun, numbers aren’t exact. Estimates just to prove my point. probably a lot of hate comments but oh well, animating popeye was fun lol.
It basically comes down to a trade off between space and speed.
1. hard drive ~100mbs – 1tb
lots of space but slow
2. ssd ~500mbs – 500gbs sweet pot
Less space but faster
3. m.2 ssd ~1.5gbs – 250gbs
Even less space, but super fast!
So why aren’t laptop manufacturers using m.2’s?
They’re smaller, faster, roughly same price. Come on!

What should you look for when buying a laptop/computer?
M.2 ssd first. $500+ probably find m.2. Small size okay (125gb) for operating systems, buy external 1tb hard drive or ssd for space
My opinion is get an m.2 internal for your operating systems and programs and use an external ssd or normal hard drive for your other data; videos, photos, documents, etc.
Mainly ssd will be okay
Dont buy 1tb hard internal. 1mph jogger, never!
