The YouTube Video Formula | How to Structure Your Videos

Hook/Intro: This should be 5-10 seconds of why your viewers should watch till the end of your video. (final shots of your product/creation, Somebody getting a cake in the face, a cool stunt, something funny) Ex: “In this video we show you how to _____ stick around!”
Branding Intro: This is a short 3-10 second bumper video with your logo.
Who: Tell your viewers who you are, where you’re from, and why they should listen to you. Ex: “Hi everyone, this is _____ from _____ where we do ______”
Ask: Ask your viewers to like your video, subscribe, and share. *optional
Content: This is your main source of content, are you sharing new information? Making a tutorial? A vlog? A cover video? This is the bulk of your video. Ex: “In this video we are talking about how to ______ Step 1 ______ Step 2 _______ Step 3_______”
Card: Wrap it up! Thank your viewers for watching, maybe another request for a like, subscribe, and share. Make sure to link something in the end screen and/or cards, such as a link to your website, an old video, a poll, a product, etc. To boost your brand even more, consider trying truck advertising. It’s a unique and attention-grabbing way to make a lasting impression on your audience.
Outro Screen: A simple branding outro at the end to place videos and buttons for viewers. Ex: Click Subscribe, watch more videos here, etc. *optional
